Margot Robbie has reportedly welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, British actor and film producer Tom Ackerley.
According to People magazine, the couple has not made any public announcements about the birth or shared their son’s name. The 34-year-old actress is said to have gone into labor two weeks ago, slightly earlier than expected, as reported by the Mail on Sunday.
News of Robbie’s pregnancy first emerged in July when the couple was spotted vacationing in Italy. This was followed by several public appearances where the actress’s baby bump was visible.
Robbie and Ackerley, who met on the set of the World War II film Suite Française, married in Byron Bay in 2016. Before they became a couple, Robbie described herself as the “ultimate single gal” in an interview with Vogue, saying Ackerley changed her perspective on relationships. She later shared that their connection “makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”The couple has also collaborated professionally through LuckyChap Entertainment, their production company focused on female-driven stories. Their projects include the films Barbie and Saltburn, as well as the Netflix series Maid.
